Problem Note 53810: PROC HPLOGISTIC outputs incorrect predicted probabilities and residuals if the response in BY groups changes between binary and ordinal

When using the BY statement in PROC HPLOGISTIC, if the response variable is binary in some BY groups and ordinal in other BY groups then the predicted probabilities and residuals, requested with the P and R options in the OUTPUT statement, are incorrect. To avoid the problem, run the procedure once for BY groups in which the response is binary and once for BY groups in which the response is ordinal.
